Lesson Notes
Directly below the stat cards and above the team table, four tile links are always visible on the Team page: Training & Curriculum, Practical Evaluations, Inventory & Kits, and Kit Readiness Grid. These are not settings — they are navigation shortcuts to the four sub-systems that make your team roster actionable. Every role that can see the Team page can see these tiles.
Training & Curriculum (/training) is where you manage specialties, certification ladders, courses, and individual lessons. When a technician completes a course or earns a certification, it surfaces on their profile. If you are onboarding new hires, assign them courses here before their first job.
Practical Evaluations (/training/evaluations) is the sign-off workflow for hands-on certification. When a technician finishes the theory portion of a certification, a practical evaluation is created. Admins and Owners open it here, observe the technician in the field or review submitted evidence, and mark it passed or failed. This page shows all open evaluations across the team so nothing falls through the cracks.
Inventory & Kits (/inventory) lets you track physical gear — cameras, lenses, flashes, tripods — and group items into kits. Each kit can be assigned to a technician. You can also designate items as part of the training pool for new-hire loan periods. Keeping inventory current is what feeds the Kit Readiness Grid.
Kit Readiness Grid (/dispatch/inventory) displays a technician-by-kit matrix showing which tech has which kit and whether they are considered dispatchable. This view is particularly useful on dispatch mornings when you need to confirm that every technician assigned to today's jobs has the gear they need. It reads directly from inventory assignments so there is no separate data entry step.
