Lesson Notes
Click any row in the team table to open the Team Member dialog for that person. The dialog header shows their avatar, full name, email, role badge, and status badge ('active' or 'inactive'). Technicians and Service Providers also show a pulsing green dot indicating they are active field staff. Owners and Admins without the Service Provider flag enabled show role and status only.
For Technicians and Service Providers, the dialog shows three performance stat tiles: Rating (star average with review count), Total Jobs (lifetime job count from the reliability record), and On-Time percentage. Below the stats, if the member has at least one rating, a collapsible section appears: 'View ratings & comments (N)'. Clicking it loads paginated rating cards showing the star score, written comment, rater name, their role (e.g. COMPANY), the date, and the property address associated with that job.
The Location section shows the member's home base address as city, province/state, and country. The home base is used by the dispatch routing system as the starting waypoint when calculating optimized routes for a technician's daily job sequence. If the address is blank or wrong, dispatch route suggestions will be inaccurate.
Admins and Owners see an Edit (pencil) icon next to the member's name. Clicking it switches the dialog into edit mode, revealing an address search field powered by the same geocoder used throughout the app. Search for the address, select the autocomplete result, and the City, Region, Postal Code, and Country fields fill automatically. You can also type into the individual fields directly. Click Save Address to commit the change. The dispatch route and fleet optimization queries invalidate immediately so the map re-fetches with the correct origin.
For elevated-role members (Owner, Admin) who have the Service Provider flag enabled, the edit dialog also shows a Service Provider toggle switch. Turning it on makes the member behave like a Technician for the purposes of dispatch, rating display, and the Active Technician stat card. This is useful for owner-operators who both manage the company and do field work.
Key Takeaways
- Click any team table row to open the member profile dialog — no separate page navigation required.
- The rating history expander loads paginated reviews with star scores, comments, rater role, date, and property address.
- The home base address feeds dispatch routing directly — an incorrect address produces inaccurate route suggestions.
- The Service Provider toggle on Owner/Admin profiles opts them into field-staff metrics and dispatch without changing their management role.
