Lesson Notes
The Team page lives at /team in the main navigation. It is only visible to members whose role is Owner, Admin, or Project Manager. Editors and Technicians cannot reach this page at all — they receive an Access Denied screen if they attempt to navigate there directly.
When the page loads, you see three stat cards at the top: Active Technicians (a count of members with status 'active' whose role is Technician or who have the Service Provider flag enabled), Average Rating (mean star rating across the same pool), and Avg On-Time Rate (mean on-time percentage across the same pool). A fourth card — Pending Invitations — appears only when at least one invitation is awaiting acceptance.
Immediately below the stat cards is a row of four shortcut tiles labeled Training & Curriculum, Practical Evaluations, Inventory & Kits, and Kit Readiness Grid. These tiles are quick-jump links to the team-adjacent sections of the app. They are always visible regardless of your role — even Project Managers see them.
Below the tiles is the full team roster table. Every confirmed member of the organization appears here as a row, including Owners and Admins. Owners and Admins who have not enabled the Service Provider flag show 'N/A' in the Location, Rating, Jobs, and On-Time columns because those metrics are only meaningful for field technicians. The table is paginated and shows 10 rows per page by default.
Project Managers and Editors can view the roster and read all data but cannot invite new members, change roles, or remove anyone. A note at the top of the page reads 'Project managers and editors can view the roster but cannot invite teammates or change roles.' The Invite Teammate button does not appear for those roles.
Key Takeaways
- Only Owners and Admins have full write access to the Team page; Project Managers and Editors get read-only access.
- The stat cards reflect active Technicians and Service Providers only — Owners and Admins do not contribute to the rating or on-time averages unless their Service Provider flag is on.
- The four subsection tiles (Training, Evaluations, Inventory, Kit Readiness) are always visible from the Team page as quick-jump shortcuts.
- A Pending Invitations stat card appears automatically whenever there are unaccepted invitations in the queue.
