Lesson Notes

01

Vremly uses Clerk for authentication, so you sign in at app.vremly.com (or your company's branded portal URL). The sign-in page accepts an email/password or a social login. If your company sent you a branded portal link — for example, photos.yourcompany.com — go directly to that URL; the onboarding flow will automatically detect the workspace and set you up as an agent customer without any extra steps.

02

First-time users who sign up on the main Vremly domain land on the account-type onboarding screen, which asks one question: 'How will you use Vremly?' You choose either 'I'm a Real Estate Agent' (books and tracks orders) or 'I'm a Media Provider' (shoots, edits, and delivers media). Picking the wrong type is not permanent — you can contact your admin to adjust it — but it does control which dashboard view and navigation you see, so choose carefully.

03

After selecting your type, the next screen asks for an optional invite code. If a company admin or team member sent you an invite code, paste it here to automatically join their workspace. The field validates in real time: a green checkmark confirms the code and shows the organization's name and logo; a red X means the code is expired or incorrect. You can skip this step and connect to an organization later.

04

Providers (photographers, videographers, editors, etc.) see one more step: a service-type picker where you select every service you offer, from Photography and Videography to Drone/Aerial, Virtual Tours, Floor Plans, Editing, Virtual Staging, and Measurements. Select all that apply — at least one must be checked before the 'Get Started' button activates. These selections help dispatchers match the right jobs to your profile.

05

After onboarding completes, the system redirects you to /dashboard. If calendar integration is configured for your organization, a 'Connect your calendar' modal appears automatically. You can connect Google Calendar or Microsoft Outlook here, or click Skip to do it later from Settings. Calendar connection lets Vremly sync shoot schedules so you never get a double-booking.

Key Takeaways

  • Branded portal links auto-complete onboarding — no manual role selection needed.
  • Invite codes join you to an organization instantly; skip the field if you don't have one.
  • Providers must select at least one service type before finishing setup.
  • Calendar connection is optional during onboarding but available any time in Settings.
