Lesson Notes
Every project in Vremly follows a defined lifecycle. The statuses you will see on job cards, in the Projects list, and throughout the dashboard are: Pending (order created, awaiting a scheduled time or technician assignment), Booked (a shoot time is confirmed but a technician is not yet assigned), Assigned (a technician has been dispatched), Shooting/In Progress (the technician has checked in on-site), Editing / Awaiting Editor (shoot is done, media is being edited or queued for editing), and Delivered (final media has been sent to the client).
For company admins and project managers, the dashboard's metrics cards bucket jobs by status and count them in real time. The Projects sidebar badge shows the combined count of Pending + Booked jobs — these are the ones that need your attention (schedule or assign a technician). The Kanban view at /project-management organizes all active jobs by status column so you can see workflow bottlenecks at a glance.
For agents (real estate agents / customers), the dashboard shows their most recent active order and highlights today's scheduled shoots. Status badges on each order card use color-coding: amber for Pending, blue for Assigned, purple for Shooting, indigo for Editing, and green for Delivered. Clicking any order card opens the full order detail sheet, which includes a messaging thread with the team and real-time status updates.
For technicians and editors, the dashboard shows only the jobs assigned to them. Technicians see jobs in Assigned status that are upcoming; editors see jobs in Editing status. As a technician, you can update a job's status directly from the Job Task View to mark it as In Progress when you arrive on-site, and to signal completion when the shoot is done. Editors can update status when editing is complete.
Key Takeaways
- Projects move through six statuses: Pending → Booked → Assigned → Shooting → Editing → Delivered.
- The Projects sidebar badge counts Pending + Booked jobs — these need scheduling or dispatch attention.
- Agent/customer status badges are color-coded: amber = Pending, blue = Assigned, purple = Shooting, indigo = Editing, green = Delivered.
- Technicians and editors see only their own assigned jobs on the dashboard.
