Lesson Notes

01

Your profile lives at /profile and is reachable from the avatar dropdown in the top-right header — click your avatar, then choose 'Profile'. Agents see the AgentProfileView, which shows your display name, email, and avatar. Providers and technicians see the full ProfileEditor, which includes your name, email, phone number, bio, home-base location (used for dispatch distance calculations and the map marker), and a skills grid where you can rate your proficiency in Residential, Commercial, Aerial, Twilight, Video, and other specialties. Keeping your profile current ensures dispatch accuracy and client-facing credibility.

02

Settings live at /settings. The Settings page is the hub for account-level preferences that apply to you personally, regardless of which organization you're currently viewing. Key sections include Account (email, password, display name), Notifications (control which push notifications and emails you receive), and Billing (payment methods). If you are an organization admin, you will also find a link from Settings to the Organization Settings page — a separate page at /organization/[orgId]/settings that controls org-level configurations like service packages, booking forms, cancellation policy, and portal branding.

03

Notification preferences let you opt in or out of email and mobile push notifications for events like 'New job assigned', 'Order status changed', 'New message', 'Invoice paid', and others. Preferences are saved per-user and per-device for push. On iOS, you can also manage notification permissions in the NotificationPreferencesView (reachable through the Settings tab in the More drawer). If push notifications are blocked at the OS level, the app shows a prompt guiding you to iOS Settings > Notifications > Vremly to enable them.

04

The theme picker (Light / Dark / System) is in the avatar dropdown menu at the top right of any page. Your preference is saved in the browser and applied immediately. The 'System' option follows your operating system's appearance setting automatically. On iOS, the app honors the system appearance setting and does not have a separate in-app override.

Key Takeaways

  • Access your profile from the avatar dropdown — providers should fill in home location and skill ratings for accurate dispatch.
  • Personal settings like notifications and billing live at /settings; org-level config lives at /organization/[orgId]/settings.
  • Notification preferences are per-user and control both email and mobile push independently.
  • The theme switcher is in the avatar dropdown and takes effect immediately.
