Lesson Notes

01

The Payouts tab shows deposits from Stripe Connect to your connected bank account. Stripe Connect is Vremly's payment processing backbone — when a customer pays an invoice online, the funds flow through your organization's Stripe Connect account before being swept to your bank. The Payouts tab surfaces the most recent 25 such sweeps so you can confirm money has arrived or identify delays.

02

If your organization has not yet connected a Stripe account, the tab shows an empty state: 'No Stripe Connect account on file — Connect a Stripe account from Settings to start collecting payments and seeing payouts here.' There is an 'Open billing settings' button that navigates directly to /settings/billing. Once connected, Stripe sweeps accumulated balances to your bank on a rolling basis (typically daily for established accounts).

03

The payouts table has six columns: Status, Method, Bank, Amount, Arrival, and Created. The Status column shows a badge that is colored differently per state: 'paid' shows a filled dark badge (default variant), 'failed' shows a red destructive badge, and any other status (like 'pending' or 'in_transit') shows a secondary gray badge. Method indicates the payout mechanism (typically 'standard' or 'instant'). Bank shows the last 4 digits of the destination bank account in the format '•••• 1234' — if Stripe does not return this, it shows a dash.

04

Amount is displayed in the payout's own currency (which is returned from Stripe and may differ from your invoice currency if you have a multi-currency setup). Arrival is the date Stripe estimated the funds would clear in your bank account; Created is the date Stripe initiated the payout. For standard payouts, Arrival is typically 1–2 business days after Created.

05

If a payout shows as 'failed', the most common causes are an incorrect bank account number, a closed account, or the bank rejecting the deposit for compliance reasons. To investigate, go to your Stripe Connect dashboard (accessible via Settings > Organization Billing > Manage in Stripe Dashboard) where Stripe provides detailed failure reasons. Vremly surfaces the status and timing but does not expose the full Stripe failure reason codes in the UI.
