Lesson Notes
Go to Settings → Organization → Billing (the path is /settings/organization/billing). The Payment Settings card shows your current Stripe Connect status. There are four possible states: no account yet, Incomplete (account created but onboarding not finished), Pending (details submitted, Stripe reviewing), and Connected (charges enabled, ready to collect money). A green 'Connected' badge in the card header confirms you are ready.
If you are not connected, click Connect Stripe. Vremly calls the backend to create a Stripe Express account and returns an onboarding URL. You are redirected to Stripe's hosted onboarding flow, where you enter your business details, bank account, and identity information. When finished, Stripe redirects you back to the billing page with a ?stripe_return=true parameter and a success toast. The page immediately re-checks your status — if charges are enabled, the card updates to the Connected state.
If onboarding was interrupted (the page shows Incomplete), click Continue Setup. This generates a fresh Stripe account link for the same account so you can pick up where you left off. If the status shows Pending after submitting all details, Stripe's review team is processing your application — this typically resolves within 1–2 business days. You do not need to take any action during the Pending state.
A 3% platform processing fee applies to each transaction settled through your connected account. This is visible in the billing card copy. Organizations that qualify as founder accounts see a fee-exempt note instead — 'No platform processing fee applies to your transactions.' Company orgs with an active Enterprise subscription also see their subscription status and renewal date on this same page, with a 'Cancel at period end' option and a Subscribe to Enterprise button for upgrading.
Once connected, the 'Manage in Stripe Dashboard' button opens dashboard.stripe.com in a new tab so you can view your payouts schedule, manage your bank account, handle disputes, and run reports directly in Stripe. Vremly's Invoices page links into this dashboard from individual invoice payment details as well — whenever a Stripe payment is recorded on an invoice, an 'Open in Stripe' link jumps directly to that payment's detail page.
