Lesson Notes
Vremly's automation is built into the pipeline. When a project moves from one status to the next, the platform automatically handles notifications, calendar updates, team assignments, and audit logging — no manual intervention required.
For example: when a Technician marks a shoot as complete (Shooting → Editing), the assigned Editor is immediately notified, the project appears in their queue, the calendar event updates, and the activity log records the transition with a timestamp and who made it.
Organizations with webhooks configured receive real-time event payloads for key actions: project created, status changed, project assigned, project delivered, invoice created/sent/paid, and customer created/updated. This enables integration with external systems.
Key Takeaways
- Every status transition triggers automated notifications, calendar updates, and logging
- The pipeline removes manual handoffs between team members
- Webhooks enable real-time integration with external tools and systems
