Lesson Notes

01

Once a project has completed AI outputs you may want to share them with a client or collaborator who does not have a Vremly account. AI Studio supports single-click public share links. On the project detail page, click the Share button in the top-right header. This generates a unique token tied to your project and automatically copies the full share URL to your clipboard — a 'Share link copied to clipboard' toast confirms the copy was successful.

02

The share URL format is /ai-studio/share/[token] and resolves to a fully public, login-free page. The shared page displays an 'AI Studio Results' header (with the PRE-ALPHA badge), the project name, and a grid of all AI-generated videos — each with the same thumbnail-to-player hover interaction and a Download link. There are no revision controls, no input photo grid, and no account navigation on the shared page. If the link is expired or revoked, the page shows 'Link Expired or Invalid' with no further details.

03

A project that has an active share link shows a blue 'Shared' indicator with an external-link icon on its card in the project list. On the detail page, the Share button is replaced by a Revoke Link button and a separate Copy Link button appears next to it. Copy Link lets you copy the share URL again without revoking it — useful if you need to resend it. Clicking Revoke Link calls the backend to delete the token; the 'Shared' indicator disappears from the project card immediately.

04

Share and Revoke Link actions are restricted to OWNER, ADMIN, and PROJECT_MANAGER roles. Editors and Agents can view projects and create new ones but cannot generate or revoke public links. This means a company can allow editors to run photos through the pipeline while keeping control over what gets shared externally with clients.

05

There is currently no expiry date on share tokens — a link remains valid indefinitely until you explicitly revoke it. If you share a project's results and then realize the output needs revision, revoke the link before submitting the revision request so the client does not see in-progress or outdated results. Once the revised output is complete and satisfactory, generate a new share link.

Key Takeaways

  • Click Share on the project detail page to generate a public link and immediately copy it to clipboard.
  • Share links resolve to a clean, login-free page showing only the AI-generated videos with download controls.
  • The blue 'Shared' badge on the project card signals an active link; use Revoke Link on the detail page to deactivate it.
  • Copy Link (next to Revoke Link) re-copies the URL without revoking, so you can resend without regenerating.
  • Generating and revoking links is restricted to OWNER, ADMIN, and PROJECT_MANAGER roles; Editors/Agents cannot share externally.
